Characters not following orders.

I've been working on my next book for a couple of weeks and I have the plot completely worked out knowing where it should end is sort of comforting on those days when I am staring at a blank page. I try to let the character's personalities take over and lead the story with me just providing a guiding hand, but this time they have taken over totally, apparently I am simply the transcriber for this story. Oh well, I still get to put my name on the cover!!

First Book Sold

Yesterday my first book was published on smashwords.com and today the first copy sold! Thanks to smashwords for helping me go from writer to author! That is one thing off my bucket list (which I didn't have til the movie came out) and only a few hundred more to go, but hey it's a step in the WRITE direction!!

Kids are sleeping, the dog is laying at my feet, and the coffee is nice and hot! Looks to be a perfect day! When I walked the Bear, the dog, this morning I could smell the cherry blossoms from the tree in my neighbor's yard. It has been so hot here lately that the breeze was amazing, even though it wasn't all that cool. Now the kids are waking up, time for Scooby Doo and scrambled eggs. Have a blessed day!
